Doping of metal-organic frameworks with functional guest molecules and nanoparticles.
Nanoparticle synthesis within metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) is performed by the adsorption of suitable precursor molecules for the metal component and subsequent decomposition to the composite materials nanoparticles@ MOF. This chapter will review different approaches of loading MOFs with more complex organic molecules and metal-organic precursor molecules. The related reactions inside MOFs a...
متن کاملRecent advances in carbon dioxide capture with metalorganic frameworks
Uncontrolled massive release of the primary greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO2) into atmosphere from anthropogenic activities poses a big threat and adversely affects our global climate and natural environment. One promising approach to mitigate CO2 emission is carbon capture and storage (CCS), in which ideal adsorbent materials with high storage capacity and excellent adsorption selectivity ov...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
N-Heterocyclic carbene containing element organic frameworks as heterogeneous organocatalysts.
A bifunctional imidazolium linker was used for the production of highly crosslinked element organic frameworks by Suzuki-coupling with tetrafunctional boronic acids. The resulting porous materials are good heterogeneous organocatalysts in the N-heterocyclic carbene-catalyzed conjugated umpolung of α,β-unsaturated cinnamaldehyde.
متن کاملA "Framework" for Object Oriented Frameworks Design
Object-oriented frameworks are established tools for domain-specific reuse. Many framework design patterns have been documented, e.g. reverse engineering framework architectures from conventionally built applications for a given domain. The framework development cycle generally evolves from open framework to closed application. We describe a more flexible component-based approach to framework d...
